ARCHIE comics are doing an experiment and re-designing their characters with a more 'modern' look. It could last if popular-- but if not, they'll revert back. Stuart Immonen started a thread on DRAWINGBOARD.ORG asking folks to post their own re-imagined versions of the characters. This is my own take on Archie and Jughead...

Verrrrry fine. With Archie looking like THAT, I could see why the girls love him.

I like the new design (you have a great style!)

however, I still think the crown would suit Jughead. He just looks wierd without it.

Great version. Yeah, the new style-more mainstream comic book, was pretty neat to see. I'm still a fan of the Dan DeCarlo style, though.
